The Lead UI Engineer will lead the design and development of high-performing user interfaces for products in the corporate travel industry, utilizing React and modern UI design principles.

Responsibilities
Responsible for design and development of a high performant UI for products that are used by the corporate travel industry
Strong experience architecting user interface with modern components and design for Web and mobile products
Strong experience in UI design patterns, AJAX, Responsive design, MVC etc
Lead the design and architecture of reusable component-based web UI architectures with modern frameworks
Good exposure to modern web application architecture and API design patterns
Strong expertise with React technologies and good exposure to Javascript Angular, JS/CSS/HTML
Passionate about UI and UX technologies and excellent UI design skills
Deep understanding of browser technologies and modern web frameworks, tools and standards
Work with the developers, architects, and test engineers in executing the iterations, delivering the releases and continually improving the software
Assist in architecting the right solution and constantly plan for future solutions
Be a champion of release stability, agile processes, and high standards of code quality
Write code as needed, review code, lead UI architectural discussions and ability to make to make key design decisions
Work with the leadership team in planning and executing the technology priorities
Influence and drive change that improves product quality
Communicate effectively and efficiently to various levels within the organizations, customers, and other external technology partners
Ability to prepare and make effective presentations
Manage multiple priorities and tasks and effective delegation
Participate and help build an open, collaborative and results oriented culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or master's degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience in UI Development
Strong experience architecting user interface with modern components and design for Web and mobile products
Strong experience in UI design patterns, AJAX, Responsive design, MVC etc
