Responsibilities
Employ user-centered design principles to enhance interface usability, reduce friction, and address the specific needs of a technical audience
Design developer-centric API documentation and tools that simplify complex information, enabling developers to easily understand and implement our APIs
Utilize design thinking methodologies to map out user journeys within the developer experience, identifying and addressing pain points and opportunities for enhancement
Foster a culture of continuous feedback by engaging with the developer community, gathering insights, and iterating on design solutions to meet evolving requirements
Ensure consistency and advocate for best practices in design, focusing on usability, accessibility, and engagement
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing documentation projects or complex information systems
Excellent understanding of information architecture and user experience principles
Strong understanding of the technical landscape, ability to communicate effectively with engineers, and grasp complex technical concepts
Knowledge of front-end web technologies and experience designing across platforms
Proficiency in design and prototyping with Figma
Ability to communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders
Passion for technology, with a keen interest in improving how developers interact with financial data
