Responsibilities

Checks suppliers’ work and progress to ensure conformance to specifications
Performs complex electrical and/or mechanical inspections
Plans, performs, and reports results of evaluations of operating practices in production, inspection, and supporting departments
Maintains an assigned vendor base as well as provide backup across various suppliers
Evaluates accuracy and verifies implementation of reported corrective actions
Maintains appropriate records, initiates various inputs for management summaries, and assures that survey history documentation is complete and maintained to meet applicable requirements
Performs special evaluations, audits, and appraisals as required
Prepares reports and makes recommendations as appropriate

Required

A bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of experience, or a High School Diploma and at least four (4) years of experience required in a mechanical and/or electrical engineering, manufacturing, or production environment as a Quality Inspector, Auditor, Machinists, or Quality Engineering role
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Must meet eye exam requirements
Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business up to 100% of the time
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Preferred

Experience with Printed Wiring Board (PWB), Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA)
Inspection experience and/or IPC knowledge and certification
Current certification from Honeywell or other recognized professional organization
