Responsibilities
Craft data-driven stories from complex datasets to influence business decisions
Serve as the expert on business metrics, partnering with leaders on strategic initiatives
Translate data into actionable insights, driving tangible results
Lead analytical challenges from start to finish, leveraging research and dashboards
Monitor metrics, identify trends, and deliver impactful findings
Elevate data literacy across Shopify, fostering data-informed decision-making
Develop robust data reporting and analysis solutions
Qualification
Required
A rare knack for weaving compelling data tales, written and visual, that resonate across varied audiences and spark action
Experience deciphering the 'why' behind numbers for informed decision-making
Mastery of SQL for crafting complex queries and optimizing workflows
Demonstrated experience with dashboards (LookerStudio, Tableau, Power BI)
Track record of turning insights into actionable recommendations
Agility in managing multiple projects and responding to urgent data requests
Strong statistical knowledge, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling
Preferred
Proficiency in data analysis tools like SPSS, R, or Python for robust analysis
