Responsibilities
Provide expert, tailored investment advice to key clients, including strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, and performance monitoring
Foster business growth through strong client relationships, market leadership, and new business development
Develop and maintain client service disciplines for the delegated solutions business
Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as operations, portfolio management, and other stakeholders to achieve business goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Honours degree, with CFA qualification highly regarded
7+ years of relevant experience in investment management or related fields
Advanced knowledge of investment theory and practical applications
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to clearly articulate Mercer's value proposition to clients and prospects
Preferred
Proven success in driving revenue growth and business development within institutional investment environments
Experience collaborating closely with senior operations teams and portfolio management to deliver client-focused solutions
Established professional networks, including trustees, lawyers, tax accountants, and auditors
Active participation in new business pitches and bid development
Ability to thrive in a complex, multidisciplinary environment with a collaborative mindset
