Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and guidance in the effective use of database management systems (DBMS)

Perform system analysis and programming utilizing modern DBMS technologies

Design and deploy database applications, incorporating efficient file structures, indexing strategies, and security measures tailored to user requirements

Assess and recommend DBMS solutions based on validated business and user needs

Develop, implement, and manage database backup and recovery processes to maintain integrity, security, and availability

Ensure strong data management practices are upheld to support and sustain the operational environment

Required

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in database management, including experience with DBMS internals and application design

Must be capable of providing high technical expertise and support for DBMS

Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products supporting user requirements

Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Examples include, but are not limited to: MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development, MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration
