Responsibilities

Responsible for patient scheduling, preparation, and intraprocedural support
Responsible for performing and documenting appropriate testing as ordered
Provides EEG/EMG studies to patients
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
Maintenance of supplies and equipment related to diagnostic performance
Performs related duties as required

Qualification

Electroneurodiagnostic certificationEEG/EMG studiesAHA BLS certificationPatient care experiencePatient scheduling

Required

Education: High School graduate or equivalent
Certifications: AHA BLS Required

Preferred

Education: Graduate of an approved Electroneurodiagnostic program
Experience: At least 1 to 2 years experience performing neurodiagnostic testing on all patient age groups in a healthcare setting
Certifications: Registered, or registry eligible, with: ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists); OR ABRET (American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic and Evoked Potential Technologists); OR Other Nationally recognized certification program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists
