Responsibilities
Develop strategic response plans for regional escalations that integrate cross-functional workstreams across Comms/PR, Product, Safety Operations, Legal, and Policy
Manage end-to-end execution of inbound regulatory requests, ensuring timely triage, stakeholder alignment, and clear tracking through resolution
Partner closely with regional heads and country managers to provide real-time visibility into active issues, emerging risks, and outcomes in your region
Act as the operational hub connecting Policy, Legal, Product Policy, Safety Ops, and Engineering, driving clarity of ownership and consistent communication across all response items
Maintain and refine tracking dashboards and documentation, proactively flagging when internal escalation or external communication is needed
Help build a repeatable, scalable process for handling critical inbound requests across markets, including defining SLAs, templates, and reporting standards
Assess the impact and risk of incoming issues, prioritizing based on regulatory exposure, user impact, and operational urgency
Capture lessons learned after each resolution and contribute to ongoing improvements in response frameworks, tooling, and workflows
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in program or project management, policy operations, trust & safety, or regulatory response, ideally in a global or technology company
Ability to create strategic, cross functional plans to resolve escalatory issues
Proven track record managing cross-functional incident or escalation workflows under tight deadlines
Strong understanding of regulatory dynamics in online platforms, digital media, or user-generated content environments
Excellent communication skills and judgment in escalating sensitive issues
Comfort working across multiple time zones and managing relationships in diverse cultural contexts
High attention to detail, structured thinking, and ability to create clarity from ambiguity
Experience with project tracking tools (Asana, Airtable, Jira, or similar)
Deep knowledge and understanding of cultural norms in any of the APAC regions
