The Trading Risk Manager will be responsible for monitoring and assessing key risk areas, conducting analysis of alerts, and implementing risk policies to protect users and the company from irregular market movements.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess key risk areas within spot/derivatives, looking into unusual trading patterns to prevent manipulative trades

Conduct daily monitoring, review, and analysis of alerts; ensure timely and appropriate resolution of incidents or risk events

Prepare and deliver accurate risk reports and findings to supervisors in a timely manner

Proactively share timely updates on market developments/news and demonstrate deep expertise in market dynamics

Implement and maintain risk policies and procedures in alignment with organizational strategy and evolving market conditions to prevent, mitigate, and eliminate risks

Identify and investigate fraudulent activity - including large position exposures, market irregularities, and other emerging risks from macroeconomic factors

Provide risk analysis and investigative support by conducting tests on risk strategies and incident cases as required

You're curious and passionate about Cryptocurrency/Trading

Able to commit to shift work (Including some weekends) on a 5 day work week basis ensuring 24/7 coverage within the team

Good knowledge of Crypto/Defi/Web3, and constantly keeping yourself updated with latest hype/developments

Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work effectively in remote settings
