Responsibilities
Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels
Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals
Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes
Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions
Adhere to quality assurance standards in design
Qualification
Required
Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent
Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design
Knowledge in design such as flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility and construction logistics
Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices
Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally focused solutions using nature-based strategies
