Responsibilities

Assessing the risks for our nuclear clients
Leading the delivery of high-profile hazards safety cases interfacing with civil, process or other engineering disciplines
Pioneering an innovative solution to evaluate the impact of meteorological hazards on the existing UK nuclear fleet
Responsible for delivery of detailed analysis to support internal and external hazard assessments (e.g. fire, flooding, seismic)
Support technical delivery of projects
Address technically complex problems and present the solutions to stakeholders
Develop and mentor junior engineers

Required

Experience in safety critical industries
Ability to deliver solutions to technically complex problems
Passion for building strong teams of technical specialists
Experience in hazards assessments and analyses
Ability to lead the delivery of high-profile hazards safety cases
Experience interfacing with civil, process or other engineering disciplines
Ability to evaluate the impact of meteorological hazards
Numerical skills for detailed analysis to support hazard assessments (e.g. fire, flooding, seismic)
Experience working with diverse clients from nuclear new build, defence and nuclear generation
Ability to support technical delivery of projects
Ability to address technically complex problems and present solutions to stakeholders
Attention to detail while maintaining a big picture perspective
Ability to contribute to and learn from the wider technical community
Experience in mentoring junior engineers
Strong leadership skills
Ability to obtain relevant security clearance
