Responsibilities
Preparing petitions and applications for various immigration cases, including employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian-based immigration
Responding to requests for evidence (RFE), notices of intent to deny (NOID), notices of intent to revoke (NOIR), audits, motions, and appeals
Reviewing and doing quality control on non-attorney staff's work
Managing client relationships by communicating with clients and updating case statuses in our systems
Ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures
Attending meetings and trainings, and sharing the firm's values in delivering high-quality legal services to clients
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an ABA-approved law school
Active member in good standing of any state bar in the United States
Ability to manage 100+ case files
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and professionalism
At least 5 years of experience in business immigration
Familiarity with immigration case management system
Strong legal research and writing skills in preparing declaration, motions, briefs
Strong communication skills – on the phone, via email, and in person
Strong desire to advance and grow professionally within the firm
Fully committed to full-time availability
Preferred
Proficiency in using case management software, such as INSZOOM, Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, Slack, highly desired
