This role involves developing a comprehensive advancement strategy, managing donor relationships, and expanding the organization's impact beyond the local community.

Develop and execute a multi-year advancement strategy aligned with organizational growth goals

Set annual fundraising targets and KPIs; track progress using Givebutter and related systems

Collaborate with the CEO to expand fundraising into new geographic markets outside Cincinnati

Build systems and structures to support sustainable fundraising practices

Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects

Create and implement donor acquisition and retention strategies

Ensure donor communications, recognition, and impact reporting are consistent and effective

Identify and apply for grants from foundations and corporations

Manage grant calendars, deadlines, and reporting

Collaborate with the marketing/communications team to align messaging and campaign timing

Partner with finance on budgeting and revenue forecasting

Foster a culture of philanthropy across staff and volunteers
