This temporary traveler position involves caring for cardiac and vascular patients before and after interventional procedures and surgeries in a high-level intermediate care unit.

Responsibilities

Caring for cardiac and vascular patients before and after interventional procedures and surgeries such as cardiac catheterizations, coronary bypass surgery, carotid surgery, and peripheral vascular surgery

Caring for congestive heart failure and arrhythmia patients

Performing bedside transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions

Removing chest tubes and central lines

Qualification

Virginia RN LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS)ACLSNIHSSAcute care experiencePatient careTeam collaboration

Required

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must have 2 or more years of recent Intermediate acute care hospital RN experience along with respiratory fit testing
