Head of People & Culture
Playson is a global B2B game provider operating in 20+ regulated markets across Europe and beyond. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to drive their People & Culture vision, managing a cross-functional team to build a high-performance culture that empowers teams to grow and evolve.

Responsibilities
Design and drive People & Culture initiatives that align with Playson’s values, shaping an organizational culture rooted in ownership, curiosity, and trust
Act as a key advisor to senior leadership (including Shareholders and Executive team)
Manage and develop a cross-functional People team, fostering collaboration, ownership, and innovation within the squad
Oversee strategic hiring plans, ensure thoughtful workforce planning, and drive continuous improvements in how we attract, assess, and retain top talent
Lead and support initiatives around team growth, reorgs, capability building, and scaling healthy team dynamics. Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions
Embed continuous feedback practices into our culture, performance, and development frameworks
Ensure people-related processes are efficient, lightweight, automated where possible, and intuitive - allowing focus to remain on building the products and driving business outcomes
Tackle operational issues pragmatically and efficiently, keeping the bar high and the systems sustainable
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a senior People/Organizational leadership role, ideally in a product-led or tech-driven environment with a fast pace and high ambiguity, including start-up and scale-up expertise
Experience across People Ops, Talent Acquisition, Internal Comms, and Employer Branding and the ability to lead cross-functional people teams across these domains
Hands-on mindset: you know when to zoom in and support operational work and when to zoom out and strategize
Experience building distributed, high-performing product-centric teams, and leading people functions across geographies and several business hubs
A business-centric mindset and curiosity to understand the key business drivers of growth, empowering it with capabilities in the People team
Passion for experimenting, iterating, and challenging assumptions – you push for better, not more
Comfort navigating ambiguity, growth pains, and cultural shifts with empathy and sharp business sense
Strong communication skills and an ability to influence across different levels of the organization
Fluent in English
Preferred
Experience in iGaming industry
Experience working in remote-first or distributed teams
Exposure to Agile environments, flat structure organizations, or cross-functional squad operating models
Familiarity with HR tech stacks and tools (Ashby, HiBob, Notion, etc)
Previous work in competitive digital talent markets
