New Business Sales Executive - Corporate & Commercial
Howden is a global collective of talented individuals passionate about insurance. They are seeking a New Business Sales Executive to join their Corporate & Commercial team in Chester, responsible for securing new corporate client accounts and managing pipelines.

Winning new clients
Retaining existing clients
Pipeline management
Attending regular new business proposal meetings
Meeting notes and file recordings
Preparation of market presentations
Report and document creation
Identification of cross-sale opportunities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in Commercial insurance
Minimum 2 years sales experience
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines
Accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of Acturis system is essential
Proficiency of Microsoft Excel / Word
GCSE in Maths & English
Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR
Working knowledge of Howden product range, policy wordings and service standards
Responsibility for own personal development and for keeping own knowledge up to date by the use of e-learning, in-house courses, and studying for professional qualifications in order to gain the required CPD points
