Responsibilities

Work experiences with AC/DC Drives, I/A DCS and Rockwell (AB) PLC
Troubleshooting, repair, replacement and calibration of electrical control instrumentation such as, temperature, pressure, ph., conductivity, turbidity, flow meters, valve positioner actuators and associated 4-20ma control loops, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Steam Systems, Foxboro Spec 200
Experience with High Pressure Boilers and high voltage distribution
Demonstrate awareness of Electrical safe work practices including NFP70e awareness
Rigging experience, be able to safely rig all types of equipment

Required

Minimum of two years' experience with the ability to perform Electrical and Instrumentation Technician work
Solid work history and ability to communicate effectively
Strong understanding of the importance of personal and group safety within the workplace
Ability to work effectively with other craft employees, Mill operators, maintenance planners and supervision
Experience troubleshooting and leading repairs to complex workplace equipment
Ability to read manuals, blueprints and working drawings
Ability to plan and lay out work
Ability to take accurate measurements using devices common to the craft
Work experiences with AC/DC Drives, I/A DCS and Rockwell (AB) PLC

Computer skills, including experience with SAP
Strong interpersonal and communication skills such as log entries or work order documentation
Ability to balance multiple tasks and conflicting priorities with confidence and accuracy
Shift work may be required, as well as occasional weekend and holiday coverage
Occasional Call-ins on nights and weekend, need to respond within an hour
Occasional work required from ladders, elevated platforms, hot and cold locations

Preferred

A Technical Degree and/or a certified Apprenticeship Program
Electrical Journyperson License and/or ISA Certification
Technical Degree or equivalent
