Assistant Professor in Water Resources Engineering

Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
First degree in Civil Engineering
Evidence of outstanding research achievements, or research potential
Demonstrated research and teaching expertise in the broad area of water resources and/or hydraulic engineering
Strong background in both experimental and numerical research
Membership or eligibility for membership in a Canadian professional engineering association
Authorization to work in Canada
Willingness to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based
English communication skills both verbally and in writing
Preferred
Demonstrated dedication to fostering an environment that supports a diverse population and a range of perspectives
Ability to effectively teach, supervise, and mentor students from a wide range of disciplines, cultures, and backgrounds
