The Production Planning Intern will work to establish build times for assemblies at the Frisco manufacturing facility, providing valuable insights into manufacturing processes and contributing to the development of an advanced manufacturing system.

Responsibilities
Establish demonstrated build times for 100% of produced assemblies at the Frisco manufacturing facility
Observe and time the builds of every unique assembly produced in Frisco
Record these times part number by part number and load into manufacturing systems
Move between work centers, track one of each individual assembly, and only time hands-on technician labor
Bounce between orders, activating timers only while builds are active and maintaining a spreadsheet to record all times
Offer suggestions for improvements in the flow of material and tracking of orders
Qualification
Required
You are an undergraduate, graduate or PhD student expected to graduate in December 2026 or Spring 2027
General / rough understanding of manufacturing basics
Average (or above) skill level with Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills required to interface with supervisors and technicians of every work center
Attention to detail a must
