Seven Seas Water Group is a portfolio company focused on delivering water solutions across various markets. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and managing long-term WaaS contracts in the residential construction and municipal markets in Houston.

Responsibilities

Identify current assets & future projects that could benefit from the water and wastewater treatment systems sold as WaaS business model for residential construction customers

Meet with potential clients to promote the AUC Group business model approach & create a strategic advantage for AUC Group

Identify key decision-makers & create an appropriate strategy

Build new customer relations with engineers, home developers, lawyers, and other relevant key stakeholders

Be familiar with the residential construction markets. Prefer knowledge of leasing and similar financial structures throughout the territory (P3 and MUD, etc.)

Act as primary client contact during the project development period

Coordinate with the AUC Group BD team, engineering, finance, and legal, to develop project proposals

Required

Driven individual with an eagerness to identify and close projects

History of successful sales experience

Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to develop project-specific BD strategy

Ability to understand municipal government politics and utility decision-making processes

Ability to identify key decision-makers in both municipal and industrial organizations

Strong skills with the MS Office suite of programs

Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed

Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills

Minimum of 10 years combined experience in Engineering and Business/Project Development

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field preferred

Experience in lease &/or concession contracts and sales is preferred

Experience in the location and the specified city is preferred with relevant knowledge and relationships highly welcome
