Responsibilities

Design and develop innovative HVAC systems, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Select appropriate components, including fans, heat exchangers, and compressors, to meet design specifications and performance requirements
Analyze refrigeration cycle performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems
Understand and apply electrical diagrams and control systems to enhance system performance and user experience
Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate HVAC systems with other building systems, ensuring seamless operation and energy efficiency
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure designs are cutting-edge and compliant
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations
Participate in product testing

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering
Profound understanding of the refrigeration cycle, component functionality, and system performance optimization
Expertise in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and control systems
Familiarity with various types of fans, heat exchangers, and compressors used in HVAC systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading design projects

Preferred

General knowledge of CAD
Large commercial, chiller, or industrial refrigeration design experience
Product testing and troubleshooting
