Responsibilities
Presenting a strategic perspective on investment technology choices and implementation decisions
Leading teams of specialists to deliver technology change across the front office technology construct
Providing SME guidance for front office technology solutions and associated operating models
Working with key client stakeholders to maximize value delivery on time and on budget
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in an implementation or product manager role for a leading front office technology, such as Blackrock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, Bloomberg AIM, Markit ThinkFolio, or FIS Front Arena
Proficiency in SQL and database management, including experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, & AWS
Expert Understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality management
Familiarity of portfolio management and trading processes in for asset managers/asset owners across equity, fixed income and listed derivative products
Specialist in two of the following areas (minimum 2 years' experience): Risk & Performance, Compliance & Regulation, Client Reporting, Non-listed Derivatives Management, Investment Operations & Settlements, Investment Vehicle Setup & Structuring, Investment Data Management
Deep experience of leading small to medium-sized teams in an implementation/consulting environment
Willingness to travel when required
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
Entrepreneurial approach and commercial awareness
Proven experience in building and delivering solutions
Outstanding demonstrated verbal and written communication
Appreciation of regional business culture
Preferred
Specialist industry qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, FINRA Series 7 or equivalent is desirable
