Responsibilities
Function as seconded Project Manager on multiple concurrent projects for nuclear power plant clients
Schedule, organize and direct others in the completion of activities
Prepare, or supervise the preparation of project schedules and cost estimates
Regularly utilizes client proprietary software packages to complete daily project responsibilities
Supervise, manage, and direct the engineering resources to complete the engineering modification package
Act as main point of contact for designated client projects and provide regular project updates
Complete all tasks in accordance with project execution procedures and guidelines as set forth in corporate Project Management System and client's standards
Responsible for managing contracts for procurement, services, and evaluating change orders and scope deviation
Manage and direct the installation through coordination with station stakeholders
Frequently communicate with client on projects to best determine the most cost-effective solutions
Provides timely and detailed documentation to ensure projects are on budget and schedule
Work is mostly located in the client office, with occasional field-based activities depending on project needs
Qualification
Required
Project management experience including an understanding and use of project management and project control principles and tools
Thorough understanding and aptitude in the use of current computer software including general office products, design, and business enterprise software
Ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations
Subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment
Preferred
A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in the electric power utility industry projects
Successful experience in leadership roles managing engineering and design teams in a consulting engineering environment
Digital / I&C system upgrade experience within the nuclear power industry
Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline
Project Management Training and/or PMP Certification
