Responsibilities
Scalability of our infrastructure to answer our international growth, with mutli-region and multi-cloud challenges
Building and operating container platforms on top of Kubernetes (EKS/GKE or equivalent), including autoscaling, policies and security
Daily interaction with engineers and participating in the development process
Work on infrastructure automation, performance improvements and auto-scaling
Designing solutions focused on uptime, redundancy, DR and understanding the security implications when interacting with Security and Compliance teams
Automating IaC deployment and configuration using Terraform, cloud-native tooling (e.g., CloudFormation, Pulumi, CrossPlane) and CI/CD integrations
Maintain an on-call rotation for the infrastructure you support, responding to alerts with a focus on continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in either AWS or GCP (experience in both is a plus)
Deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
Monitoring, alerting and dashboarding with ELK, Coralogix and/or cloud-native services (CloudWatch, Cloud Logging/Monitoring)
Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Rundeck
Experience with deploying infrastructure in an AWS and/or GCP cloud environment
Ability to troubleshoot and configure AWS and/or GCP services on the scope of compute and networking
Experience with Kubernetes covering provisioning, lifecycle and running at scale
Linux administration experience, understanding Linux core fundamentals and command line operations
Knowledge of security best practices for Cloud Computing environments
Preferred
scripting/programming in Python, Go, or Bash
DR/HA design
