Inside Sales Team Lead

Nelsen Corporation is a family-owned business that has become a leading OEM and distributor of water treatment systems. They are seeking an Inside Sales Team Lead to manage existing accounts, identify new business leads, and provide customer service while overseeing the Inside Sales Team.

Responsibilities

Maintain and build relationships by contacting customers, establishing buying cycles, presenting new products
Apply knowledge of the industry and product features to complement and add to existing clients’ catalog
Manage accounts by tracking orders and following up on past due payments
Solicit customer feedback to improve service/ address needs
Answer inbound sales lead calls, respond to inquiries, and convert to sales
Provide information, quotes, and credit terms to new clients
Prepare sales and budgeting information to determine price schedules and discount rates
Respond promptly to customer requests
Investigate and resolve delivery or product problems in a professional, empathetic manner
Utilize CRM to track activity, keep commitments and maintain customer contact
Coordinate efforts with Production and Warehouse Teams to ensure product availability and delivery timelines
Partner with the Senior Management Team to assign new accounts and align portfolios
Develop strong relationships with dealers, key suppliers, fellow team members and internal resources
Master product knowledge and build competency with software systems (ERP/CRM)
Oversee branch Inside Sales Team to ensure proper adherence to policies, procedures, order accuracy, and safety standards
Maintain and monitor staffing and scheduling levels
Analyze and organize workflow for maximum efficiency
Provide training and development along with clear communication of performance expectations and goals

Required

Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel
Possess self-motivation and strong work ethic, detail oriented and able to prioritize daily work efficiently
Must pass a background check and urine drug screen
3-5 years of sales experience, generating leads and closing sales

Preferred

Bachelors' degree in a relevant field, preferred
WQA Certification or equivalent industry knowledge, preferred
