Day Shift - Industrial Electrical Technician/Industrial Maintenance Technician
Haynes International is a leading manufacturer of high-quality stainless, nickel, and cobalt superalloy welding wire. They are seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician/Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform modifications, upgrades, and installations, as well as diagnose and repair electrical systems and machinery.

Responsibilities
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
Perform modifications, upgrades, and new equipment/machinery installations
Contributes to continuous improvement projects for the department and site
Locates sources of mechanical and electrical problems by observing, listening, and using precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose problems
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools
Determines changes in the dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used components and employing rules, calipers, micrometers, and various measuring instruments
Demonstrates knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including AC/DC motors and drives up to 480V 3-Phase, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, and low-voltage systems
Ability to fabricate and repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
Diagnose problems, disassemble components, determine the extent of necessary repairs, then repair, refit, or replace worn or damaged parts
Dismantle, move, and reassemble special-purpose machines and equipment, requiring utmost care and accuracy in reassembly, alignment, and balance
Prepare machine foundations. Lay and anchor machines and/or equipment
The demands may require unspecified tasks of the plant and production schedules
Continuously applies and seeks to improve safe training principles in Arc Flash, Lock Out Tag Out, Basic Electrical Safety, Ladder Safety, and other plant programs
Strict adherence to environmental health and safety (EHS) and manufacturing standard operating policies and procedures
Qualification
Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience
Positive, cooperative attitude and excellent attendance
Thorough knowledge of hand tools, lifts, and electrical equipment
Working knowledge of photo eyes/sensors, limit switches, proximity sensors, and temperature controllers
Ability to follow directions, read blueprints, sketches, and diagrams
Basic knowledge of transformers, motors, generators, drive equipment, and all phases of industrial electrical systems
Knowledge of maintenance/millwright and electrical skills
Basic shop mathematics with knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, machining, and other trade skills
High School Diploma
Preferred
Associate's degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Electronics, or related field
