They are inviting applications for a tenure-track position combining academic expertise in law and technology with practical skills to advance public interest in technology law and policy as Director of the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC). Required

Clinical, policy, or litigation experience in law and technology

A common law or civil law degree

Membership in good standing of a provincial or state bar

Completion or near completion of a master's or doctoral degree in law, or a doctoral degree in a related discipline

If currently enrolled in an LLM program, must obtain the degree within six months of appointment

If currently enrolled in a doctoral program, supervisor must confirm reasonable probability of completing thesis within 18 months of appointment

Strong communication skills

Passive bilingualism in the other official language of Canada is a requirement for tenure

Preferred

Active bilingualism would be an asset
