Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers
Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses
May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
Windows Administration, computer troubleshooting, Windows patching, and ACAS
Configure and maintain Windows desktops
Maintain latest security guidelines and patches per DISA requirements
Manage backups and imaged systems for the purpose of duplication and adding new systems to the network
Qualification
Required
Less than 3 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description
BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline for the position
Sec+(8570) certification
Must be a US Citizen
Top Secret security clearance
