They are seeking a Procurement Specialist / Production Planner to manage sourcing, align material availability, and oversee logistics for electronic components and related materials to support manufacturing operations.

Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Own material procurement: Source and procure electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), subassemblies, and related materials from both domestic and international suppliers

Vet suppliers: Evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with applicable quality, performance, and regulatory standards, including RoHS and REACH

Manage pricing: Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and incoterms to maximize cost-efficiency and supplier performance

Monitor industry trends: Monitor industry trends, market availability, and lead times to proactively manage risks related to sourcing, component obsolescence, and supply shortages

Coordinate cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to ensure materials are available in alignment with build schedules and manufacturing requirements

Manage availability: Maintain accurate and up-to-date material availability reports to support efficient production workflows and minimize operational downtime

Plan Production: Support the development and adjustment of production schedules, considering inventory levels, supplier lead times, and manufacturing capacity

Communicate proactively: Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and supplier performance metrics

Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Electronics, Business, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered

Proficient in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and highly skilled in Microsoft Excel

Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational abilities

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
