Responsibilities

Understand requirements, design, implement, and execute automated tests for web, API, and backend systems
Build and maintain test frameworks, tools, and test environments
Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and best practices
Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with engineers to resolve them
Participate in code reviews and contribute to test case reviews
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Continuously improve testing processes, tools and coverage
Work cross-functionally to optimize testing strategies
Provide feedback on software design for better testability
Reduce test suite execution time while maintaining high defect detection rates

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
3–6 years of experience in software testing and test automation
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
Deep experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices testing, and backend validation
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
