Payroll Clerk
KBW Financial Staffing & Recruitment is partnering with a growing construction organization in Hartford County to identify a Payroll Clerk to support full-cycle field payroll operations across multiple job sites. The role involves maintaining payroll records, processing multi-state payroll, and preparing certified payroll reports.

Responsibilities
Maintain employment documentation and payroll-related records
Process weekly field payroll for multi-state job sites
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports
Complete third-party reporting, including monthly utilization and union benefit submissions
Perform data entry, review, correction, and importing of daily electronic timesheets
Utilize Excel and Word for reporting and administrative tasks
Qualification
Required
2+ years of payroll experience, ideally within the construction industry
Experience with multi-state payroll
Prior certified payroll and construction payroll required
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
High attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Preferred
Union payroll experience strongly preferred
Experience with Sage, TimberScan, HCSS, or other construction payroll systems preferred
