Responsibilities

Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert (SME) on the Cyber Defense Operations team
Work across Cyber Defense, Cyber Assurance, Cyber Assessment, and Cyber Engineering to ensure a 360 degree approach
Collaborate across teams to drive a cohesive cybersecurity strategy and eliminate gaps and duplication

Required

Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
5+ years with a BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; OR 7+ years without a BA/BS in a technical discipline
5+ years of experience specifically in offensive or defensive cybersecurity operations
Demonstrated experience with Authority and Accreditation (A&A) and C&A packages needed to obtain security approvals for system deployments into production state
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell, and Bash)
Experience with Splunk Enterprise, and preferably Splunk certifications
Experience with AWS cloud logging such as CloudTrail and CloudWatch
Experience with network protocols, packet capture analysis, and NetFlow analysis
Experience with security event log analysis, including Windows event logging and Syslog
Ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive a cohesive cybersecurity strategy and eliminate gaps and duplication
A strong understanding of threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and overall security architecture and best practices
Knowledge of information security standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST

Preferred

The ability to design, implement and maintain IDS/IPS technologies
Certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, CEH, BCPEN, CompTIA CySA+, PenTest+, (ISC)2 CISSP, and/or CSSLP
Experience with common offensive security tools and methodologies (e.g. Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Cobalt Strike)
