Netex Group is seeking an Economist to support their Accounting Department by performing various clerical and analytical tasks. The role focuses on ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy through tasks such as invoice processing, account balancing, and report preparation.

Responsibilities

Accurate and timely processing of invoices

Balancing accounts through data analysis and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements

Handling manually entered invoices when needed

Monitoring and analyzing market payments and costs

Preparing financial reports, including Handelsstatistik and Bundesbank reports

Providing support to clients during audits by supplying the required documentation

Collaborating with IT and programming teams to ensure smooth financial operations

Managing emails from suppliers and internal stakeholders

Automated resolution of issues received from various client-used platforms

Effective communication with clients, transport companies, and internal departments via email and phone to obtain necessary documents and information

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills and adherence to deadlines
