Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement secure, scalable, and resilient IT system architectures across cloud and on-premises environments
Monitor system health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions to ensure high uptime
Standardize and automate repetitive operational processes and tasks using scripting languages to improve efficiency and reduce human error
Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and diagnose complex hardware, software, and network issues, establishing preventive measures
Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and data encryption, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and project managers, and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and audits
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions, and conduct capacity planning to forecast future growth and scalability requirements
