Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end primary research initiatives – from proposal through delivery – to answer brand, audience, product and strategic business questions
Drive projects that inform product evolution, content and communication strategy, as well as platform positioning, with visibility to very senior client stakeholders
Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research, with a particular emphasis on usage of advanced methods (e.g. segmentations, conjoint, discrete choice modeling, pricing studies and market sizing)
Translate data into actionable, visual, story-driven deliverables that inspire decisions and drive growth
Partner closely with senior client stakeholders to ensure insights are directly connected to business impact
Develop and nurture deep, trusted relationships with client partners, serving as a strategic advisor and building a deep understanding of their business, priorities, and challenges to ensure their needs are met with insight and impact
Mentor and lead a team of talented researchers; delegate effectively while maintaining high-quality standards
Actively contribute to thought leadership, proposal development and new business initiatives

Required

8+ years' experience working in consumer insights, strategy or analytics – preferably within media, tech or consulting
Supplier-side experience is required
Ideally looking for a B.A./B.S. degree in areas such as Social Sciences, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics or a related field
An enthusiasm for research, data driven approaches, and strategic thinking
Experience in handling complex client issues, providing well-informed strategic counsel, at times under tight time
Expert-level understanding and experience with a range of complex qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Proven experience nurturing and building relationships with clients, confidently providing strategic guidance to them
Excited about proactively driving new business opportunities
Well-developed research acumen and can lead and develop a team
Genuinely interested in seeking information on the 'whys.'
Ability to solve complicated questions using creative and collaborative tactics
Strong writing skills where you can craft a story around data insights and clearly communicate key points in a succinct, impactful manner
Experience with interpreting advanced methods such as correlation analysis, multivariate analysis techniques (such as cluster/segmentation analysis), conjoint, market sizing, pricing and discrete choice analysis
Internally-motivated who continuously strives to get things done well, regardless of challenges encountered
Successfully manages time and multiple competing priorities to ensure deadlines are always met
Team player who is able to work collaboratively and harmoniously within a team and across teams
