Responsibilities
Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design, Product Definition and Operations data including verifications and management of Class I and Class II engineering changes for and accuracy including: configuration identification, bill-of-materials, relationships and affected documents
Perform Data Management Activities by supporting programs with contract data deliverables to external customers, as well as supporting management of data with suppliers
Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards
Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices, principles, policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred
Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of Configuration Management practices and principles and knowledge of ISO10007 and EIA649 required
Knowledge of PTC Windchill
CMII or CMPIC certification
Knowledge of design, development and manufacture of mechanical and electrical systems
