Qualification
Required
B.S. in a laboratory science such as chemistry or biology
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with colleagues in an undergraduate academic setting
Appointment to this position is contingent upon the successful passing of a background check
Understanding of general chemistry calculations needed to prepare reagents and solutions for 1000-level chemistry labs
Ability to learn new software applications as needed for inventory and record keeping
Preferred
Understanding of chemical reactions, processes, and calculations used in undergraduate labs, basic understanding of chemistry instrumentation
Experience with cleaning and maintaining lab equipment
Familiarity with standard lab safety procedures
