Responsibilities
Oversee kitchen operations, including weekly menu planning, preparation of meals, and inventory management
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Coordinate food orders, manage supplier relationships, and monitor budget adherence
Ensure all certifications and documentation (menus, invoices, allergy lists, etc.) are up to date and properly maintained
Oversee facility upkeep, supply inventory, and vehicle maintenance (including mileage logs and monthly safety checklists)
Ensure program records, reports, and audits are accurate and compliant with agency policy
Maintain training compliance (CPR, First Aid, CPI, Suicide Prevention, etc.) for self and staff
Ensure compliance with health, fire, and building inspections and all ECHS policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience
Two years of experience in a food service environment
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and USDA nutrition standards
Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be at least 21 years old
Preferred
Residential or youth service background
