Responsibilities

Lead the outlook, strategy, and prioritization across the area of Android test execution and orchestration, exercising an understanding of test infra directions and associated architectures

Manage a group of Software Engineers working on Android test execution and orchestration framework, fostering their growth and career development

Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders on Android/Aluminium/Pixel and Platform and Devices Engineering Infrastructure and Operations (PDEIO) engineering teams, collaborators within PDEIO infra teams, and partners across Google (e.g., Core) on test execution and orchestration-related topics, acting as a liaison with technical insights

Drive innovation across team on infra reliability, efficiency and scalability improvements

Lead the team in cross-PDEIO infra convergence efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development with Java

3 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with continuous integration, compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role

2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field

3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization

Experience with Go, SQL, Data Processing, Google Kubernetes Engine
