Client Development Manager
Ambition is an Amlaw Top 20 firm seeking a Client Development Manager to drive growth in their Financial Institutions Practice. The role involves partnering with Directors and Partners to implement business development strategies and manage key projects to enhance client engagement.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and client groups to implement strategic business development plans
Support pitches, RFPs, and presentations that win new business and showcase firm expertise
Develop and maintain practice descriptions, capability statements, and competitive intelligence materials
Oversee marketing content creation — from research and copywriting to digital and print campaigns
Manage CRM databases and engagement records to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems
Plan and execute client and practice events, coordinating agendas, speakers, and logistics
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development within a law firm or professional services environment
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and client groups
Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing tools
Experience in creating marketing content and materials
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
