Responsibilities

Prepare, format, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and subpoenas

Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files

Track court deadlines, maintain attorney calendars, and coordinate hearings, depositions, and inspections

Draft letters and routine correspondence to clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Request and organize claim files, property damage documentation, and related discovery materials

Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, binders, and witness lists

Communicate professionally with clients, insurance representatives, court staff, and vendors

Perform general administrative duties including time entry, billing support, and scheduling

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in First Party Property litigation

Working knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures and court filing systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills

Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Additional legal training or certification is a plus

Preferred

Experience with Litify/Salesforce
