As a Senior Java Engineer, you will lead a team in creating and maintaining distributed, event-driven microservices using Java and Kubernetes, while also mentoring newer engineers and driving best practices in engineering.

Responsibilities

Drive architecture and design efforts for the Integrations team

Drive the use of engineering best practices for the team and foster an environment where meeting these requirements is the standard

Mentor newer engineers to help them grow in their own careers

Implement distributed, event-driven microservices in Java

Represent the team in architecture, design, and other technical meetings with stakeholders

Present new services and major features to our Architecture Review Board for approval

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ Years of experience working with Java

1+ Years of experience working with Kotlin

Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.)

Experience with RESTful API design and development

Experience with database technologies (SQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra)

Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Kotest)

Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons
