Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring that the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards established by the organization by servicing maintenance requests, complete residential requests for maintenance, and provide excellent customer service
Act as the Community Manager in the absence of the Community manager
Performing repairs in resident apartments and assisting in preparing units for rent (make-ready)
Teach and train the maintenance team and ensure every resident is provided with superior customer service
Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while achieving the leasing, retention, and occupancy goals
Ensure the satisfaction of our residents while also meeting leasing, retention and occupancy goals for the community
Preparing rental units for new tenants and ensuring that properties are in optimal condition in a timely manner and according to the manager's timetable
Leading and directing all community day-to-day operations to provide optimal return to the investors
Motivating community staff employees to provide service to residents and maintain a high level of resident satisfaction
Providing leadership in factors directly contributing to the property operational performance such as: implementing cost control, revenue improvement programs, developing and following annual operating budgets, plus sales and marketing plans
Qualification
Required
HVAC Certified Technician certification
Ability to assist in ensuring community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards
Experience in servicing maintenance requests
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to align performance with the Company's vision and strategic initiatives
Experience in community management or related field for Assistant Community Manager role
Ability to act as Community Manager in their absence
Experience in maintenance and repairs for Lead Maintenance role
Ability to teach and train maintenance team
Experience in leasing and customer service for Leasing Manager and Leasing Consultant roles
Ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere
Experience in preparing rental units for new tenants for Make Ready Technician role
Experience in leading and directing community operations for Community Manager role
Ability to implement cost control and revenue improvement programs
Experience in developing and following annual operating budgets and sales/marketing plans
