Responsibilities

Conduct fieldwork - Staff will conduct fieldwork specific to the consulting projects. Fieldwork could include visiting the client location, touring client facilities, investigating relevant facts, analyzing accounting information, preparing cost lead schedules and cost summary schedules, completing appropriate tax computations, and preparing written reports summarizing the findings

Staff are expected to engage in fieldwork pertinent to consulting projects. This can include visiting client locations, touring facilities, investigating facts, analyzing accounting data, preparing schedules, and writing summary reports

Staff may also play a role in business procurement, with senior staff available to address technical queries and produce relevant marketing content

Some travel may be needed, although most fieldwork can usually be completed from the office

Staff are expected to become "experts" in a particular field of tax law through both general and client-specific research

Staff will read and study materials related to their specific line of business to become experts in the field

Staff must manage multiple tasks concurrently. They are also responsible for internal communications regarding task statuses, technical issues, workload status, and expected deadlines
