Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems
Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operations
Oversee implementation of shop floor improvement projects and document progress
Support the introduction of new products and processes into production (NPI)
Prepare and maintain documentation including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action efforts (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, or FMEA
Experience with automation or CNC machining a plus
Experience in Welding and Fabrication processes a plus
