Finance Systems Manager

Responsibilities

Own Financial Systems: Manage the day-to-day administration and optimization of core finance tools including NetSuite, Ramp, Pigment. Handle user setup, permissions, configurations, workflows, forms, dashboards, and troubleshooting
Drive System Strategy: Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Chainguard’s financial systems landscape, partnering with Finance leadership to identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and ensure compliance with global accounting standards
Architect and Integrate Systems: Design and maintain system integrations between finance platforms and other internal business systems to ensure seamless data flow, accuracy, and compliance
Ensure Data Integrity: Safeguard the accuracy, consistency, and security of financial data across systems through robust governance, testing, and controls
Deliver Reporting and Insights: Develop and maintain custom reports, saved searches, dashboards, and BI tools that enable actionable financial insights and support data-driven decision-making
Support and Enable Users: Serve as the primary point of contact for finance and accounting teams. Resolve system issues, document processes, and deliver end-user training to ensure adoption and efficiency
Implement and Evolve Systems: Support configuration changes, release readiness, sandbox testing, and system updates. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, AI-driven solutions, to enhance scalability and efficiency
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations, and Sales to align system workflows with business requirements and financial policies

Required

Proven experience administering and optimizing financial systems such as NetSuite (ERP), Ramp, Pigment, etc
Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report
Demonstrated ability to own system strategy and design, with a track record of implementing automations and integrations that drive operational excellence
Proficiency in building reports, saved searches, and dashboards that translate data into business insights
Hands-on experience with data management, including imports, cleansing, and deduplication
Familiarity with compliance, internal controls, and system governance
Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues across systems
Collaborative and proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Preferred

Experience leveraging AI, automation, or advanced analytics to enhance financial operations
