Responsibilities

Assist in planning, promoting, and managing a broad spectrum of campus activities and programs
Manage the operations of the Fitness Center
Hire and supervise student employees
Manage equipment and facility maintenance, including the purchase of new equipment as needed
Develop and oversee fitness programming, as appropriate
Brainstorm and create strategic experiential programming for staff team effectiveness and growth
Prepare, manage, and steward the operating budget and expenditures associated with key areas of oversight
Regularly attend and assist in CCU Chapels during the school year
Cultivate our departmental student leaders through supporting the hiring process, onboarding, programming, intentional teaching of leadership skills, and development of student directors/coordinators
Enhance learning opportunities that support the development of leadership skills among our student-staff leaders
Supervise student groups within CA&L during the academic year to include coaching, advising on event planning, and other resources as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
Administrative experience at the collegiate level to include managing large-scale campus events as well as overseeing a complete array of fiscal and operational complexities associated with co-curricular event and program planning required
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented
Demonstrated record of successful administrative leadership and experience managing and supervising professional and support staff
Ability to sustain communication with diverse groups, anticipate problems, reconcile conflicts, and maintain a strong student affairs philosophical base for student engagement, development and support
Committed follower of Jesus Christ, who believes there is no salvation apart from faith in his atonement on the cross, by grace alone becoming 'born again' thus beginning a personal relationship with Christ, the Son of God
Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace. Must have a strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University
Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church. Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education
Must be a traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is in consonance with sound Christian principles, is compatible with CCU's Statement of Faith, and is in agreement with the Strategic Priorities promulgated by the University

Preferred

Master's Degree in Student Affairs or related area
