Responsibilities
Develop software solutions and end-user training in response to departmental needs
Contribute as an active team member on multi-developer projects, providing status updates and supporting testing and quality assurance activities
Accurately define, analyze, design, develop, test, and implement business applications within required timelines
Follow established development standards, prepare both technical documentation and end-user materials, conduct user training when necessary
Support testing and implementation of upgrades to existing applications and assist in diagnosing and resolving software issues
Evaluate user needs to reduce redundancy and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Stay informed about emerging software, hardware, and technology advancements relevant to support and development
Work extended hours as required to meet project deadlines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have a clear criminal record (excluding traffic violations)
Must pass an FBI criminal background check including a national fingerprint check through law enforcement agencies
Preferred
Software development and project management
Experience or training in Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience or training in TypeScript
Experience or training in NodeJS
Experience or training in JavaScript
Experience or training in HTML
Experience or training in CSS
Experience or training in MSSQL
Experience or training in DB2
Experience or training in COBOL
