They are seeking a Senior Event Executive to plan and execute community soccer programming for a financial services client, focusing on local initiatives and engagement with fans and families across the country.

Responsibilities
Support day-to-day team functions to help the team succeed
Serve as point-person for on-the-ground activation
Prepare necessary event documents including event guides, itineraries, meeting notes and post event recaps
Coordinate projects with vendors and internal Octagon resources
Develop a knowledge and understanding of financial service client's sponsorship portfolio and business initiatives
Additional projects as assigned, which may include assistance on other events/programs, vendor research, etc
A considerable amount of domestic event travel will be required throughout the year, including nights and weekends
Perform additional duties and administrative responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Genuine passion for soccer and community engagement, with curiosity about the sport's evolving landscape
3+ years' experience in a related field
You have a passion for events/experiences, ranging from large-scale custom experiences to small-scale turnkey events
You truly believe that no job is too small or too big
You have a can-do attitude and desire to succeed and learn
You're a team player who wants to know what others are working on and also wants to help
You enjoy coming up with fun ideas and bringing them to life
You are curious and desire to learn in a fast-paced work environment
You thrive under pressure and are exceptional at problem solving and offering creative solutions

You possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
You communicate effectively, both oral and written, with clients and colleagues
Endurance, stamina, and physical ability to work long hours for extended days during activations
Persistent enthusiasm, energy, and drive through the project both in the office and on the road
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to or more than eight hours at a time
Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: High (40-60%)
