Inglis is seeking a Microsoft O365 Security Administrator to join their Information Technology team. This role is responsible for designing security protocols for managing access to data in Office 365 and Azure Cloud, ensuring secure deployment of advanced features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure computing environment.

Responsibilities

Partners with Infrastructure Manager to provide technical leadership delivering high quality security consultation based on the operational requirements of the business and assess the Microsoft Office 365 application solutions used to achieve broader business goals of Inglis as well as assisting in the maintenance of Inglis’ hybrid cloud infrastructure

Serve as the security subject matter expert for the Microsoft Azure infrastructure, Azure Enterprise applications, O365 and SharePoint online platforms

Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry developments and best practices

Advise on best practices that ensure data security

Take ownership of envisioning, planning, deploying, and optimizing Microsoft cybersecurity solutions, ensuring they align seamlessly with the unique security, technical, and business initiatives of our internal customers

Implement information protection strategies to safeguard sensitive data

Develop and implement a strategy for data classification and labeling to ensure proper handling of sensitive information

Continuously assess and improve the security posture of data within Microsoft 365 environments

Manage user identities and access, enforce security policies, and oversee identity governance

Implement data classification, labeling, and encryption policies to protect sensitive information

Oversee the creation, configuration, and management of managed identities, ensuring secure access control and continuous monitoring

Manage identity federation, enabling seamless single sign-on experiences

Support incident response efforts in response to client breaches

Maintain and troubleshoot email services, ensure data integrity and compliance

Manage the on-premises Exchange infrastructure for SMTP Relay and business continuity support

Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident responses
